From glacier-cut valleys to the Continental Divide to the truly aesthetic green meadows, there is much to admire along this route. It is iconic for its awesome vistas and meandering tarmack, not to mention the brooding mountain peaks.

The route goes from Golden take Highway 6 all the way through Clear Lake Canyon Park before ending at Estes Park, a lower final destination. We certainly do believe this is one of the most iconic motorcycle routes in the USA.

The route begins in Virginia, where you get the chance to view some of the painful Civil War battle sites in the spanning, vast countryside. Then, as you move further south on the route, you head into the Blue Park Ridgeway. There, you’ll find sweeping curves and majestic forests. In the autumn, this place is incredibly special. The leaves are red, amber and yellow, and everything just seems perfect.

With a 45 MPH speed limit, you’ve got the chance to truly appreciate what’s in front of you. It is possible to increase the time you spend on this route. This can be done by following the Skyline Drive through Shenandoah National Park, Virginia.

This route, which incorporates 318 sharp turns in just eleven miles, is perfect for tourers and thrill-seekers. Also encompassing the brilliant Deal’s Gap on the North Carolina and Tennessee border, this route is an all American classic. Without a doubt, one of the most senses-tingling routes across all of America is Coastal Route One. The sea’s smell is potent and it truly catches your nostrils as you pass along the road.
